It seemed to descend on us in just a few hours… though in reality it took at least 12. We went to bed unassuming, but then woke up the next morning to find ourselves completely covered. I opened the back door and saw yellow yellow everywhere.
The house.
The deck.
The swing set.
All completely covered in pollen.
After seeing the the fairy dust everywhere, I am so thankful that we sail through the allergy season without Kleenex or Claritin.
So far the only casualty has been the seat of my pants. Let me tell you, there's a reason why no ones sells jeans in a hazy shade of yellow. Arg! When will I learn to look before I sit, swing, or slide? So unattractive.

Wow, that is a lot of pollen. My husband would be dying :)
Blessings!
I forgot it was your first Spring. I was shocked at the quantities and the wafting. Fortunately the first good rain takes it all away. My allergy afflicted family will never visit me here. Not after seeing my pictures.
Oh my sinuses hurt just looking at it! We're having a snowstorm today, so I think I'll be OK for awhile here!
I have a white car so the fairy dust is very apparent when it strikes here as well! Ours hasn't hit yet but I suspect it will be soon. Clariton is a gift from God, seriously a blessing. I couldn't live without it. Enjoy the flowers that come with that pollen though!
Oh, I hear ya! Christopher and I were just talking about how our car is covered in pollen!
